  Forging VS Casting

Forging manufacturing process, the aluminum alloy heated parison is extruded under great pressure in the mold processing method. In "forged aluminum" process, since the forging must be heated to a temperature between the molds is placed before the processing by the forging machine to a gravity pressure molding,

According to the mold used in the casting material can be cast into a sand mold, shell mold casting, and die like. Also based on liquid metal flows into the mold of the way, casting can be divided into gravity casting, die casting, die casting for small parts in general,
recast for large pieces.

  1. The high strength : the use of a continuous forging grain flow be caused by the formation of fibrosis in the state machinery , aluminum material and therefore can get the maximum directional strength , impact resistance and excellent mechanical properties such as fatigue . So rigid forged aluminum parts will be better, and have the absolute intensity uniformity.
  2. High density : aluminum parts for the same terms , to impose over the casting and forging other machining methods , get fine grain structure , the internal parts can be reduced pores, cracks and other defects. Due to the high density , no so-called sand hole , it is because in the production process , the use of high- stamping the principle of the structure is solid, and the weight will be lighter than cast aluminum parts .
  3. High reliability at low cost : the shape of complex parts , the casting process forging compare the overall yield can be significantly improved, more economical and suitable for mass production , reduce production costs.
  4. Less secondary processing : by stamping a strong way , the forging ratio of the casting can achieve more accurate dimensions and appearance , reduce secondary machining, thus saving wear and tear of the materials and reduce production costs.
